Contempt Actions to enforce prior Court Orders

Contempt involves failure to comply with a court order, by action or inaction. For example, when custody of a child involves an agreed to and/or court-ordered parenting plan, one parent may refuse to allow the other parent to have time with the children as ordered. Other cases can involve violations of a restraining order, failure to pay child support, or refusal to transfer property as agreed and ordered. Justin has represented numerous clients successfully in contempt actions to enforce prior Court Orders and has defended many clients against contempt actions.
